Good news from Trek/Fisher; I will be part of the 29er Crew for the 2nd straight year. Today I get back to my regimen after Snotcycle. This year, I am focusing on getting a lot of base miles in before my interval work starts. Last year was a little bit of a learning and failing curve in this area, but still produced pretty good results. This year is going to be a real good year. I have logged 387 miles since January 1. February looks to be a 450+ month. I have found it pretty enjoyable on the trainer. My zone 2 workouts are 143-154bpm and last almost 1.5 hours.
One side note; I will be playing the drums again for my church. It has been almost a year since I have been with a group, but should be pretty cool.

Been a long time
It has been a long time since my last post. Wife and ACL surgery, Wife and ACl recovery, Wife needs to go back to work...ok, done. Race season officially started yesterday at Snotcycle. In short, it was a horrible day for riding, but a good day for running. 4-8" of snow on the ground did not make for ideal riding or running. I found myself looking for my sled dogs, but I thin they too had enough. Ended up in 10th in SS class out of 54 with 1:05 lap time, that's right-LAP time. Only one lap. They cut it short due to the conditions. All in all felt great, all things considered. Anyway, this year looks to be promising for me. A new regimen for my winter work is lookin' mighty fine. Look out geared guys and clear the tracks, the train is comin' through!
